Very nice whiskey stones!
These are great whiskey stones. They do give off a taste the first few times I have used them. Yes I did wash them first. Very good size and beautiful wooden holder. They are a very good gift or perfect for personal use. I do wish they kept colder for a little longer but I don’t think that might be the difference between stainless steel and stone.

Not so cool.
I havevused these a couple times so far and haven’t really been impressed. They dont seem to chill the bourbon a lot which surprised me. I am storing them in the freezer so they are fully chilled before use. Im using 2 stones for 1.5 Oz of bourbon which is more than the recommended 3 stones for 3 oz.

The stones appear to be good quality and the included tray is a nice touch for storing them in the freezer.However, in practical use they just didn’t work as well as I hoped. They will chill the drink slightly, but they don’t seem to bring the temperature down nearly as much as expected.I’m not sure if that’s specific to this brand or simply the concept behind whiskey stones in general. For my usual two fingers of whisky, they didn’t provide the level of chilling I was hoping for.Overall it’s a well-made set, but the cooling performance was a bit underwhelming for me.
