Clean drinking water is one of the most important parts of being prepared—whether you’re heading into the backcountry, spending time on the water, traveling in an RV, or preparing an emergency kit.
Aquatabs 397mg Water Purification Tablets provide a lightweight and convenient way to treat water when access to a dependable drinking-water source isn’t available. Each tablet is designed to treat up to 4 gallons of water, with treatment taking approximately 30 minutes under the manufacturer’s stated conditions.
The compact 100-tablet package is easy to store in a bug-out bag, camping gear, boat, RV, emergency supply kit, or hiking pack without taking up much space or adding significant weight.
Aquatabs are designed to eliminate microorganisms from water, with the manufacturer stating effectiveness against 99.9999% of bacteria, 99.99% of viruses, and 99.9% of cysts including Giardia.
Unlike traditional iodine-based purification tablets, Aquatabs are designed to leave treated water without the characteristic iodine taste, color, or odor.
For water containing visible sediment or particles, use appropriate physical filtration or allow sediment to settle before chemical treatment. Aquatabs are a water disinfection treatment and should not be considered a replacement for a mechanical sediment filter.

Great product
I got these for camping. Kinda pricy but they treat 4 gallons per tablet. So far so good. Treated some water when out camping and it did its job.

A Good Resource to Have
Living in an area where the water quality can be questionable at times made these purification tablets a must-have in our home. I don’t need them often, but when I do, I am grateful that I thought to purchase them on a regular basis.

Water purification tablets
I purchased these Aquatabs Water Purification Tablets to keep in our RV for camping trips and emergencies, especially when we’re down at the river and aren’t always sure about the quality of the water. They are compact, easy to store, and don’t take up much room in our camping supplies.I like having them on hand for peace of mind when we’re traveling or spending time outdoors. They’re simple to use and are a great addition to an RV, camping gear, or emergency preparedness kit. It’s always nice to have a backup option for treating water when you’re away from home. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for campers, RV owners, and anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors.

must have item!!
Definitely a must have item, especially considering the circumstances going on in our country with these “centers” popping up like weeds! I have used these a few times and they work great! water tasted like, well, pond water, cause thats where I was getting the water. but not all that bad! nice portable water treatment tablets that are simple to use, self explanatory obviously but you gotta let them dissolve COMPLETELY first, then stir or shake the water, then cook or drink it! again ive used these several times over a 20yr time period and have never had any health issues, nor have I heard anything from anyone regarding health related issues with these! these particular tablets treat 4 gallons of water per tablet! I use them in my 5 gallon portable water jugs and 1 works great for that amount but I wouldn’t go any more than 5 gallons without adding another tablet. very simple to carry as they come in a small bottle, basically like a pill bottle. manufacturer says their good for around 5yrs but IF keep away from heat, humidity and moisture they’ll last for over 10yrs!! i have several tablets that are vacuum sealed and this bottle will be vacuum sealed as well!! i buy a few of these every yr and seal them for “shtf” or camping trips. these are a definite MUST HAVE item for any situation, especially in today’s world!! well worth the money ppl!!

Almost no space and great peace of mind for a go bag
Bought these water purification tablets specifically for our family emergency go bags. Drinking water is one of my biggest concerns when planning for an emergency, but there is obviously a limit to how much water you can realistically carry. These take almost no space or weight in the bag, which makes them an easy addition as a backup option for water purification. The compact packaging was one of the main reasons I chose them.Thankfully we haven’t needed to use them, and I hope we never do. I can’t review the actual performance yet, but from a preparedness, size and packaging standpoint, they fit our go-bag needs perfectly. I’ll update the review if we ever have to use them.

Great for emergency preparedness
These water purification tablets are compact and easy to store in an emergency kit, camping gear, or vehicle. I like having them on hand as a backup in case clean drinking water isn’t available. The small bottle takes up very little space and is convenient to keep with other emergency supplies.
