The substantial chess pieces feature an inner zinc alloy core and electroplated acrylic exterior, giving them a distinctive look and a satisfying weight in the hand. With its large 3.5 inch king, protective leather bases, and organized storage system, this set provides a polished playing experience at home or while traveling.
Weighted Zinc Alloy and Acrylic Chess Pieces
The chess pieces feature a zinc alloy inner core with an electroplated acrylic exterior, providing a more substantial feel than lightweight plastic pieces. The weighted construction helps the pieces remain stable during play and gives the set a premium appearance.
The king measures approximately 3.5 inches tall, providing a commanding presence on the board. Smooth leather bases help protect the playing surface while allowing the pieces to move comfortably across the board.
Elegant Marbled Wooden Chessboard
The chessboard features a beautifully marbled brown wooden design that combines classic chess styling with an elegant decorative appearance. The rich wood pattern makes the board attractive enough to leave displayed in a living room, office, game room, or other gathering space.
The combination of the marbled board and chrome and metal finished pieces creates a refined look that works well for both casual games and special occasions.
Folding Design for Easy Travel
The wooden chessboard folds into a compact form for convenient transportation and storage. Its portable design allows chess enthusiasts to take the set along on trips, vacations, family visits, or other outings.
The folding construction also makes it easy to store the chess set when it is not being used, helping keep the playing pieces and board together in one convenient package.
Individual Storage for Every Piece
The inside of the folding board features custom molded storage compartments designed to hold the individual chess pieces. Each piece has its own designated location, helping keep the set organized between games.
The protective storage design also helps prevent the pieces from moving around and becoming damaged while the chess set is being transported or stored.

This chess set is absolutely beautiful and great quality. The moment I opened the box, I was impressed by how elegant it looks — the marbled wooden board has a classic yet modern style that really stands out. The acrylic pieces are nicely weighted, shiny, and feel very sturdy. They look amazing when set up on the board. The 15-inch size is just right — not too big, not too small — perfect for playing comfortably. I love that the board folds in half, making it super convenient to store or take along when traveling. It’s a great set for family game nights or as a thoughtful gift. The quality and presentation are excellent, and it looks even prettier in person than in the pictures. Totally worth it!

WAY Nicer Than Expected!
First thing to kno, Im breaking my vow to write this review…was mad amazon never put me in the Vine club after all my reviews and money spent.but this chess set deserves praise…Hesitant at first due to price and size, Paid $52.32 (Black fri deal)…but full price (60+) would have been well worth it IMO.15” sounded small for such a price but seems larger in person…actually perfect.Way heavier than expected…pieces and board seem very well made and solid.Like the look/fact it has notation. If you look at the seller’s provided pics, one of them shows a board with no notation on it.The foam storage area…Pieces fit very snug. Not a cheap foam either. Almost challenging to get the pieces out. And I was happy the color of the foam is Black (Thought I saw green in review pics)Happy it came with a storage bag a nice box to prevent scratching when not in use/mobile.Felt/protection on the bottom of the pieces isn’t your typical/fuzzy green…more of a thin rubberish sticker and black (better IMO)I was worried how the random marbling would look…especially since it differs in color, Wht vs blk…the black pieces have a copper/gold tint, and the white pieces more of a reddish brown/gold. Noticing that prior to purchase almost made me abort final sale. however, it looks fine in person, maybe the color tint is stronger on the white in order to pop more.No real defects to complain about…one of the white pawn’s marbling turns to grey on the head..but doesnt look too bad…and a few of the felts weren’t completely flat (but fixable)Im 48yo…owed and a played with many chess sets…this one is high on my fav list

Beautiful Large Chess Set
Absolutely Gorgeous! I did have to send the first chest set that I received back because of it being damaged. However, I got a replacement very quickly and it was worth a second try. I gifted this to my son for Christmas and he loved it. Very sturdy and well built. Definitely was a great value for the money spent. I did not take a photo of the new chest set that I received so the one I’m showing unfortunately was the damaged one, but I wanted you to see how beautiful and well constructed the pieces are.

Very nice chess set
I bought this for a birthday gift for my 10 year old grandson. It seems to be a very nice chess set. I also like that it has a cloth bag included. I gave 4 stars because the leather on one piece is peeling up.

So far so good very pretty. Moderate heavy glass marble pieces. Board nothing special but looks good. Comes with bag. Packaging is basic. But looks good. The lock nothing special. I would definitely buy again so far. First day of having. Leather on bottom of pieces
