Good Metal Detector for Beginners and Hobbyists
I purchased this metal detector for weekend treasure hunting at the beach and in my backyard, The assembly took less than a minute, and the instructions were easy to follow. The detector is lightweight, making it comfortable to use for long periods without causing arm fatigue.The large LCD display is bright and easy to read, even in direct sunlight. I also appreciate the backlight, which makes it convenient for early morning or evening searches. The different detection modes are simple to switch between, and the PinPoint mode makes it much easier to locate buried objects accurately.

A must read book for newcomers and seasoned detectorists.
I own several books written about metal detecting and been detecting 31 years. This is the most accurate and truthful book I have seen. Andy Sabisch tells the truth about the hobby. Some of the most helpful tips on detecting that I have never seen.Would highly recommend his books to anyone just getting into the hobby or a seasoned veteran, you will learn alot.

Performs as described, quick delivery
For the price this seems like a pretty good unit. I am still in the learning curve, but have found some objects I buried and some nails that were buried during my house construction. It pinpointed the nails with the PP mode which were approximately 5 inches deep.I bought this to find a lawnmower bolt that fell out of my lawnmower. As of yet I haven’t located the bolt in my yard which is nearly an acre. To be fair I don’t know when the boll fell out which complicates the search area. For the price I’m pretty impressed as it performs as described. It’s easy to assemble, and I like the included shovel and case.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this metal detector performs! It was very easy to assemble in under a minute, and the adjustable shaft makes it comfortable for both adults and kids to use. It’s lightweight, so I was able to search for quite a while without my arm getting tired.The large LCD screen is bright and easy to read, even in lower light, and switching between the different detection modes is simple. The sensitivity adjustment helped reduce false signals, making it much easier to pinpoint coins and other small metal objects. The pinpoint mode is especially helpful when narrowing down a target.I also appreciate the waterproof search coil, which makes it great for use at the beach or in wet grass. The build quality feels sturdy, and the detector is responsive and accurate.Overall, this is an excellent value for anyone interested in treasure hunting. Whether you’re a beginner or just looking for a reliable detector for family outings, this one is a fun and dependable choice.

Works good but cheaply made. Lot of plastic.It included batteries but one was dead. I would not order again. I am planning to use it a good bit so we’ll see.

Find all the things
We got this for treasure hunting along creek beds and at the beach it has come in handy when a socket has gotten lost in the driveway gravel we mostly got it just for fun and curiosity.But I can easily see from the controls and it’s professional grade but the user interface is easy enough to interact with and figure out that the common person can use it as well. It’s a nice size and pretty lightweight for what it is.A great conversation piece because so many people came up to us asking us what we were looking for hoping that we were on some lifetime movie sort of quest lol

Can’t wait to take this to the beach
I got this metal detector specifically to use at the beach and I’m really excited to try it out there. The LCD screen is easy to read, it feels lightweight enough to carry around for a wile, and the controls don’t seem overly complicated.I like that it’s designed for better accurcy and can help identify different types of metal before digging. So far I’m impressed with the quality and setup, and I’m definitely looking forwrd to seeing what I can find in the sand.

Fun for the whole family
This metal detector for adults was easy to use right out of the box—no complicated setup. It’s light enough that even the kids could swing it around without getting tired. We spent an afternoon at a dried-up lakebed looking for coins and random bits of metal, found many items and the batteries lasted all weekend, and everyone stayed interested. Simple, portable, and a genuinely good time together.
