LIGHTWEIGHT IM6 GRAPHITE BLANKS
The Centron rod is constructed with a lightweight IM6 graphite blank designed to provide sensitivity and dependable performance. The responsive graphite construction helps anglers detect bites while providing the strength needed for a variety of freshwater applications.

STAINLESS STEEL GUIDES WITH CERAMIC RINGS
Durable stainless steel guides feature premium ceramic ring inserts designed to provide smooth line movement with both monofilament and braided fishing lines. The lightweight guide frames help maintain a balanced rod while providing reliable performance.
COMFORTABLE EVA HANDLES AND FIGHTING BUTT
Contoured EVA handles provide a comfortable and secure grip for long days on the water. Centron configurations use split rear handles on many of the all-purpose models, while selected longer and heavier configurations use full-length EVA handles.
A fighting butt provides additional support and balance during demanding fights with stronger fish.

SPINNING REEL CONFIGURATION
The Centron spinning combo includes a matched KastKing Centron spinning reel. Depending on the rod configuration, Centron spinning reels range from compact size 2000 models through larger size 5000 models.
The spinning reel features a 5.2:1 gear ratio, 9+1 ball-bearing system, anti-twist line roller, lightweight graphite frame, aluminum spool, and a triple-disc felt drag system.

The Centron baitcasting combo includes a matched KastKing Centron baitcasting reel designed for anglers seeking greater casting control and distance.
The baitcasting reel features a 7.1:1 high-speed gear ratio, 5+1 MaxiDur ball bearings, up to 15.4 pounds of maximum drag, brass main and pinion gears, and a 10-magnet braking system with external adjustment.
The lightweight glass-fiber-infused nylon frame provides a balance of strength and weight for dependable performance on the water.

Great rod/reel combo
I am so glad I got this rod and reel. It’s perfect for my needs. I mostly fish for bluegill and crappie and this is great for that! I’ve never used this brand before but I had heard good things about it. You have to assemble it but it’s very easy to do. If you have any issues there are tutorials online. Once I got it put together and added my line I gave it a test cast in my yard. It was a smooth cast. Felt like I got better distance with this rod and reel combo than any other brand I’ve used before. Now, I won’t say that I’m a pro, but I’ve been fishing all my life. I’ve tried a good variety of rods and reels. This is hands down my favorite. Great ,affordable option for beginners and seasoned fisherman.The rod is sturdy enough to catch what I’m fishing for. It also had good sensitivity and I was able to feel the tiniest nibble. Reeling in was smooth as well. Exceeded my expectations.

Killer Reel, Rod is SO-SO
The reel is awesome. but after using the combined combo for maybe 16 hours of fishing, the rod snapped.i paired this reel with a Crixus ML rod and I AM IN LOVEnow lets talk more about the reel. perfect size and drag and feel. I run 10 pound mono on the reel and this is my in-between reel. i use another KK UL for my finesse fishing (panfish and small bass). But this is PERFECT for chasing down 2-4 pound bass and crappie. for the price its literally unbeatable.i recommend getting the reel separate for like 30 and then the Crixus rod for 50. it’ll cost you a little more but its a nasty combo

Ordered 2 of these rods and have no complaints. ordered a 4000 and 5000 series. had to have a combo that would breakdown for our vacation trips with the family. The rod is stiff and offers great hook setting, casting, and feedback. The reel is smooth, casts good, and dont have any complaints. Also i like the design of the eyelets and have yet to break any off. Ive got a ton of other rods from other brands and are comparable to penn fierce’s but i really really like these due to cheaper cost and better build quality.

Rod Broke After First Use
I never write reviews but I was a little disappointed in this product. I have multiple Kastking rods and reels and use so many of their products as they have always been good but I bought this as a gift for my cousin recommending they are exceptional and he just took out to the lake this weekend to use it for the first time and the reel was great but the rod broke after a slight pull trying to get unstuck. All my other Kastking rods have never had this issue. So in short the reel is good but the rod sucks and won’t last.

Not a Good Investment
The crank handle knob is way too small. Your fingers slip when trying to reel in the big one.

Reel is awesome…the pole not so much
I’m usually go for Lews or Penn bit though I’d give KK a try. The Reel is awesome I’m super happy with it. The rid not so much on my second hand sized bluegill the tip of the rod snapped off. Customer service was really fast and helpful they were out of stock but they refunded me for it. I’m really impressed with the reel tho. It cast and reels really smooth. I’m definitely going to buy more KK reels in the future but I think I’ll stay away from the rods for now.
