Love this mechanics tool set
Quality mechanics set by a quality tool company. I use this kit at least once a week, and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth already. I didn’t want to spend $500 on a 1,000 piece kit with a bunch of tools I’ll never use. This has the perfect amount of tools and not a bunch of extra junk. I got it for a great price, but I’d honestly spend even more on it if I had to.

First of all, thanks DeWalt/Amazon for moving the impact drivers and power drills out of this grouping on Amazon so that it is not as confusing. All of the reviews now that mention the drills, however, are now not worth anything so the reviews are not off. Oh well. This DeWalt tool set seems to be well built, with quality pieces, unlike the Allen Wrench socket set that I had previously whose case fell apart and is currently being held together with duct tape.CONS:-The toolset is pretty heavy, but a general rule of thumb is that quality and weight usually run harmoniously with each-other, so this is not a big deal.-It does not have the attachment adapter for a drill or impact driver for the largest sockets, but it does come with an adaptor for the smaller two sizes.-They are not impact rated, but I think that they will hold up for a battery-powered impact driver (I use a Greenworks 24V impact driver, I will include a link for my review of this product from Amazon.)PROS:-It has a very good, solid, well-built case that should last a lot longer than our Allen Wrench socket set, whose case fell apart. The case is made with a premium composite plastic material that looks and feels durable.-The hinges and latches are well made and should last a long time.-All of the tools are made professionally and nothing seems like it was poorly engineered.-All of the sockets, wrenches, and ratchets are well built.-lifetime guarantee with free replacement which is a perk.Time will tell and I will update my review if something goes wrong, but these products work very well and I am not ashamed to have them in my toolbox. The Pros outweighted the Cons and the only way that I would not recommend this would be if you work repeatedly with high-powered air-powered impact guns. Amazing tool set.
I returned my purchase on Amazon due to me finding a better deal in person but it is my favorite tool set. I broke my other set and lost a lot of pieces (user error) so I got a new whole entire set to make sure I have everything I need. Otherwise an amazing gift/tool set. Great gift idea during sale time too.

Great warranty
I never write reviews but I have to say this tool set is high quality. I’ve had it now for 7 years. 2 years ago i broke the rachet. Well I saw the number on the case saying life time warranty and thought why not try it my wife called the number and they sent me a brand new rachet with no hassle and excellent customer service.

Almost a Great Set
Great kit for the price if you can catch it for around $100. Knocked off a star because of the case and the lack of a 12mm wrench. Several sockets fall out of the bottom row of the top half of the case on a regular basis. Skipping the 12mm wrench is a fail. Set includes 11mm and 13mm but no 12mm. Not seen that before and did not realize before purchasing. Also note that the ratchets in this set are not the quick-release type if that matters to you. Nice mid-grade set otherwise and is a great value at $100.

For a homeowner, it’s a great set.
I live in illinois, but I winter in arizona.In 2024, get out to my R. V lot I need a couple of tools. I thought I had here but I didn’t had to borrow tools from a neighbor. So I went on, Amazon picked out this set.Very happy with quality of the tools. Had to replace the battery in my jeep, which I keep at my son’s house. He has a hodgepodge of tools, which made it difficult to get that battery out. Since it was just before Christmas, I ordered a set for him. He loves them. For homeowner, this is a great set.Every tool has a place in the tool case.As long as you put everything back, you won’t lose it. And everything is easy to find. Also dwelt has a great guarantee.

One month later review: Great investment

Needed to upgrade from my old cheap temu tool box to a bigger and better quality tool box. Dewalt doesn’t primarily make automotive tools so I was a bit skeptical getting this tool box but after getting the tool box I can’t say I’m disappointed one bit. Sockets are durable comes with a lot of sizes, drives, wrenches, etc… basically has everything I need. I probably will end up keeping this box forever and never replacing it.I have been using it everyday for my auto work and it’s standing up to its needsAlso can’t help but admire how beautiful the polishing looks.
